Late this afternoon Steven Dennis over at Roll Call issued an explosive blog post that Speaker Boehner killed the Internet Sales Tax Bill for the upcoming lame duck session of Congress.
According to Boehner spokesman Kevin Smith - "The speaker has made clear in the past he has significant concerns about the bill, and it won't move forward this year".   For more information about this online sales tax development please check out the initial report from Roll Call here. We continue to believe that this issue will again be debated in the new Congress starting in 2015.
