On Wednesday, there was plenty of action taking place right on the D2C show floor—from exhibit booths and the InventHelp-INPEX New Product Showcase to the Women in Business Pavilion and D2C Learning Lounge. The Masters Series also made its way to the show floor, with one-hour sessions in the Think Tank.
One of the many highlights of Day 2 included the keynote presentation entitled, Go Beyond the TV Screen: Using Mobile Technology to Reach More Consumers. Shazam executive Peter Szabo discussed how the popular music-identifying app is putting the power back in the marketers’ hands by allowing them to create a seamless customer experience through real-time engagement. Szabo also shared some of Shazam’s most inventive mobile campaigns, including one featuring Coke Zero.
During the afternoon, attendees gathered in the Latour Ballroom for the always-popular Inventors’ Two-Minute Pitch, where inventors pitched their wares to the industry’s top marketers.
Once the show floor closed for the day, attendees headed over to The White Party presented by Thane for a fun evening of cocktails and good conversation.
