Electronic Retailing Association Expands Executive Team

ERALogo2008-03-18_borderspaceReflecting the continued growth of the trade association representing the Electronic and Digital Direct To Consumer industry, the Electronic Retailing Association (ERA) (www.retailing.org) has announced a pair of appointments to its executive team. 

Effective immediately, Jennifer Williamson has been named Director of Industry Relations and Strategic Initiatives from her previous position as Director of Membership Recruitment & Retention, a position she held since 2012. As Director of Industry Relations and Strategic Initiatives, Williamson will manage ERA’s relationship with ERA’s Electronic Retailer Magazine, providing strategic direction to maximize the trade publication’s value as an effective informational resource to association membership and the industry at large. Reporting to ERA President and Chief Executive Officer Julie Coons, Williamson will also plan and coordinate strategic and special projects and serve as staff liaison to ERA’s CEO level peer groups, the CEO Summit and the CEO Club. Prior to joining ERA, Williamson worked with a number of high-profile associations, including the National Risk Retention Association, the Northern Virginia Technology Council, and the association that represents the truck stop industry. She has also served on several boards, and is currently Secretary of the Board of Directors of Artomatic, a nonprofit arts organization. Williamson is also a long-time member and volunteer of ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership, a past CAE Commissioner, and a former Chair of ASAE's Ethics Committee.

Assuming ERA’s membership role is Jim Perrus who has been appointed Director, Membership Sales. In his new position, Perrus will be responsible for generating new member sales as well as overseeing retention to maintain existing membership. Perrus joins ERA from Hargrove, Inc. where he served as Sales Executive, Exhibits. He previously worked in Sales roles for ERA’s Electronic Retailer magazine, the National Association of Broadcasters and Association for Financial Professionals.
