In 2017, in addition to its case work, the Electronic Retailing Self-Regulation Program (ERSP) worked towards creating greater visibility for the program and continued to seek out new opportunities for advertising self-regulation.
Last year, ERSP attended several events and webinars, including LeadsCon Las Vegas, the Republican Attorneys General Association’s ERC Meeting, Conference of Western Attorneys General (CWAG) Annual Conference, DSA Business & Policy Conference 2016, ERA’s Government Affairs Committee, ERA’s Great Ideas Summit and D2C Convention, and Social Media Week NYC. ERSP also hosted its annual Summit in May, which was highlighted by a one-on-one interview with FTC Commissioner Terrell McSweeny and remarks from the Commission’s Director of Marketing Practices, Lois Greisman.
ERSP is continuing to discuss new self-regulatory endeavors with representatives from several industries. In order to better communicate with industry members and ERSP Review Program Participants, ERSP will be looking to create a newsletter with case updates, program developments, etc. Looking forward, ERSP will be represented at Social Media Week NYC and will be hosting an ERSP meeting at ERA’s Great Ideas Summit in Puerto Rico – stay tuned for additional information on both of these events.
In May, ERSP will once again host its annual Summit. We anticipate an exciting half-day of panels and discussion so be on the lookout for our save the date email!

Jessica Grodzki is the Advertising Review Specialist for the Electronic Retailing Self-Regulation Program (“ERSP”). She assists with ERSP’s ongoing monitoring program and the ERSP Review Program. Before joining ERSP, Jessica worked at the Better Business Bureau Serving Metropolitan New York where she managed the Information & Investigations Department. She received a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Japanese Language and Literature from Boston University.
