Last week, ERA’s Digital Council had a fantastic conference call! We heard from Linda Goldstein, partner at Manatt Phelps & Phillips, LLP, who presented an engaging webinar entitled “Top 5 Legal and Regulatory Risks in Digital Marketing.” The hour-long presentation focused on making sure direct response marketers are compliant with the FTC’s testimonial and endorsement guidelines, ensuring that your check-out process is ROSCA compliant, properly making effect disclosures in the digital media space, and making sure you thoroughly know your affiliates and monitor them accordingly. What’s more, Linda provided a brief explanation of native advertising.
